The St. Joe Company announces the opening of its newest Watersound Club golf course designed by Love Golf Design Founders Davis Love III and Mark Love and Lead Architect Scot Sherman. Named “The Third” in homage to both the PGA great who helped design the new course and its position as the third golf course in the Watersound Club collection, the 18-hole course is located just north of Shark’s Tooth golf course, another world-class amenity in the Watersound Club portfolio.

Love Golf Design and Beau Welling Design will collaborate and construct a new golf course for the future of tourism in the Dominican Republic, Punta Bergantín. The resort will cover approximately 10 million square meters and incorporate high end real estate, education, golf, cinema and tourism into one destination.

The Third Golf Course is a brand-new 18-hole golf course designed by Davis Love III, located north of Shark's Tooth Golf Course. The Third offers a unique golfing experience with pristine greens, lush fairways, and natural landscapes. It has been carefully designed to fit into the surrounding environment, using the existing topography to create a challenging yet enjoyable course. The course is the perfect blend of traditional and modern design, with Davis Love III utilizing his years of experience as a professional golfer and golf course designer to create a masterpiece.

The new $47m Alabama Intercollegiate Athletics Golf Facility in Tuscaloosa, USA, has opened for the University of Alabama’s (UA) men’s and women’s golf teams.The facility includes a nine-hole course, 16-acre training facility, 410-yard driving range and 25,000-square-foot team building. The facilities have been built on a 176-acre site on Kicker Road and will be used solely by UA’s golf teams

Love Golf Design (LGD) will lead a renovation of the Links course at Bear Lakes Country Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. 

Originally designed by Nicklaus Design to imitate a seaside Scottish links course, the course will be ‘reimagined’, taking inspiration from America’s classic courses.

Hazeltine National Golf Club is proud to announce a long-term partnership with the distinguished architecture firm of Love Golf Design for purposes of developing a comprehensive master plan. The design team is led by World Golf Hall of Famer Davis Love III and is based in Sea Island, Georgia.

Love Golf Design, the architecture firm of brothers Mark and Davis Love III, will break ground this week on the first 18-hole course to be built in northwest Florida in over two decades. The new regulation design is being called WaterSound III and is part of the large WaterSound development off Highway 30A, 15 miles west of Panama City Beach.
