Love Golf Design has been tasked at Hazeltine with examining and master planning the golf course and the entirety of the surrounding property – everything from greens, bunkers, fairways, playing distances, irrigation, drainage, trees, and routing plan. The scope of work will include rerouting of some holes to improve balance and changing the playing strategy in certain stretches, plus building all new greens, bunkers, tees, rough, as well as a complete replacement of the irrigation system.

As Seaside nears its 25th anniversary in 2026, a thoughtful restoration will soon be underway to honor its legacy as a premier Tom Fazio design. Led by Love Golf Design and executed by MacCurrach Golf Course Construction, the project will preserve the course’s original character while introducing some enhancements. The course will be closed May 1 – October 18, 2026 to complete this work.
